In September 2016 I started developing myself on the IT marketplace and along the way I’ve managed to learn a lot of skills. After finishing my education at the HOWEST university of Kortrijk, I was able to start my first full time job at e-BO Enterprises (Ypres). At this company I already had some great challenges and along the path of software development I’ve managed to find my way. The current function title I’m holding there is “UX/UI Engineer” which means I’m the responsible person for engineering a user-friendly and attractive software interface within a project called “Offshare”.

If you thought IT was the only market I’m currently developing myself in, then you’ve guessed wrong. After receiving my high school diploma as electrician, I’ve put this pathway on hold for a while until September 2022. That moment I decided to start another education within which my electrical knowledge can become very handy. Next to my full-time job as designer I’ve chosen to become a refrigeration engineer.

In the past I spend 18 years in my favorite youth movement called ‘KSA Pops’. After eight years of volunteering as a leader, I called it to an end, I quite miss it, but can look back on that great time through all the skills I developed there. You don’t believe me? Well lets say I’ve learned a lot about organization, planning, responsibility, leadership, creativity, critical thinking, evaluation, and many more. These skills will certainly help me a lot in my future career! Oh and I like cats!
